1. What we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, work email, company name and a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Verification queries. We log the supplier names and companies you search or verify, to deliver reports, enforce plan quotas and improve match quality.
Usage and device data. Standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and analytics/advertising cookies, including Google tags used to measure ad performance. We also use Microsoft Clarity to capture how visitors use the site (clicks, scrolling, session replays and heatmaps) so we can improve the product; this data is processed under Microsoft's privacy statement.
Contact messages. If you use the contact form we store the message and your contact details to respond.
Payments. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We never store your card details on our servers.
2. How we use it
- To generate and deliver supplier verification reports you request.
- To operate your account, apply plan limits and provide support.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
- To measure marketing performance and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Report data
Verification reports are compiled from licensed third-party trade-data sources and public records concerning companies (not private individuals). Reports describe business trading activity and are provided for risk-assessment purposes.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run TradeVerify (hosting, analytics, payment processing, communication tools such as WhatsApp when you contact us there), or where required by law. Your searches are never shown to the suppliers you check.
5. Retention & security
Account and report data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, for legal and audit purposes. Data is protected with encryption in transit, hashed credentials and access controls.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal information from active systems.
